UNNAKAYA (STUFFED PLANTAIN FRY)
Many of us are very much interested to eat Indian dishes.Today we will try a dish which had typically originated from God’s Own Country— Kerela

For this we will need
- Banana(ripe) -3
- Grated coconut-2cup
- Sugar -1/2cup
- Cashew
- Cardamom powder - a pinch
First boil the banana in a steamer for 15 minutes.
Grind the boiled banana into a smooth paste.
Add the coconut, cardamom powder and sugar into a bowl and mix well.
Switch on the flame and cook the coconut mixture until the sugar melts. Let it cool for about 10-15 minutes.
Take the banana in your hand and make a ball out of it. Press the ball keeping it in between your palm and make it flat.
Fill the coconut mixture and cover it. Make it into a roll.
Store it in the freezer for about 4-5 hours and deep fry in vegetable oil.
The UNNAKAYAis ready.
You can serve it hot to your guest and it is also a tasty and healthy snack for your kids.
